*NinaSever was over the moon to find out she had won our True Love Competition! Her winning entry was captivating, intimate and honest, something Sabrina and myself were looking for from this competition. So what did she have to say about winning...

What first went through your mind when you heard what our theme was for the competition?
I was pretty sad, because I didn't have any good picture for this theme. I had few old images with my ex boyfriend, but as long as he was an ex... I waited. Then I posed with Ricki Hall and once the photographer said we could use the images, I submitted.
What was your inspiration? What inspires you?
It was the photographer's idea for an editorial, we just tried to follow her mood, but it was great because we all had the same warm sensations about the shoot.
Usually I get inspired by the moment, if there is not a mood board I can check out in advance.

Tell us about the model in the photograph.
It's Ricki Hall from London. A crazy guy I met on web before shooting together. We had a really great time all together with the rest of the team. He's a nice guy, full of life, really positive; I guess I've something to learn from his behavior.
What is your favourite part of this photo?
We are natural and peaceful, but at the same time the picture is well balanced, the poses are great as well. In my opinion it all works perfectly... Then of course somebody might not like the tattoos, or the kind of genre/picture, but basically is a good photo.

So tell us about yourself, what is your favourite style of photography?
I really enjoy posing for nude genre. I find it pure and unique, when I just can pose with what I am. When I have my expressions only and my skin to say who I am, I feel safe and I think that I can express myself best, 300%.
If you could work with any photographer who would it be?
Ellen Rogers, or Paolo Roversi!

When did you decide that you wanted to be a model?
I didn't decide it, it all came up to me just by case! I started with self-portraits, then the photographers noticed me and they started to propose me shootings.
Which magazine would you most like to feature in?
i Magazine!
:thumb387673955:
Do you prefer modelling in a studio or on location? Why?
Studio is a little bit boring, so I prefer to shoot on location, so I have more things to interact with. Especially when I travel, I love to pose in different places, instead of staying in a neutral place which doesn't say a thing about a city I'm visiting.
Do you like to be a big part of the creative process?
Of course I do, my last year was great because of this reason, I most of the time have been the art director of my shoots. I love active models, it's really important that we talk and that we express ourselves regard the projects. And... why not, we can create something as well, even being on the other side of the lens.

Where do you see yourself in the future?
I work as editor right now, it's a hard job and I write only about one year, there is still so much to learn; but I have several huge publications, so I just have not to give up and maybe in the future it will be my one and only job.
*NinaSever prefers...
Summer or winter? I prefer winter.
Rock or pop music? I like pop and rock music, it depends on my mood.
Cats or dogs? I probably prefer cats.
Piercings or tattoos? I have both piercings and tattoos, but at the moment I'm really ok with my few piercings, while I'd love to have more huge tattoos on my body.
Mac or PC? I use a MAC since years, but I would never say no to a good new PC.
