What first went through your mind when you heard what our theme was for the competition?
When i first read about the competition and the theme, my mind immediately wondered off to images that represent a delicate beautiful girl with something of an imaginary scenery.
What was your inspiration? What inspires you?
My inspiration was odd, so to say, a group of dried bushes near my house. I get inspired from everything and anything around me; it can be a song, the landscape, the weather (good or bad) or even a piece of clothing. I can be walking on the street and get new ideas out of nowhere.
Tell us about the model in the photograph.
The model in the photo is a dear friend of mine, and one of my favourite models to work with aswell. I like pushing my limits, putting my models in not so convenient situations, and she always comes through, surprising me with an input of her own, using only body language to communicate.
What is your favourite part of this photo?
My favourite part is, no doubt, the models expression, that combines fear and surprise with a soft beauty.
So tell us about yourself, what is your favourite style of photography?
I'm an art lover, hard worker, and all above ambitious, with a major in Interior Design. My favourite style of photography has to be Fashion Photography, although I like to play around and create an unique style, that I think represent me more. I try to alter reality and show it in a more imaginary way, playing with different types of makeup on my models.

If you could work with any model/photographer who would it be?
I really like how photographers such as Ana Cruz (`LuneBleu) Liliana Sanches (`Princess-of-Shadows) and Sabine Fischer (*sabinefischer) focus on taking self-portraiture shots, and for a change I would love to be in the role of the photographer and work with them as my models. Let's not forget fashion photography superstar Lara Jade and why not, Annie Leibovitz for that matter.
When did you start doing photography? Was it something you’ve always wanted to do?
2007 was the year when I first started playing around with photography. Back then i was more focused on photomanipulations and took photos to build up my stock images. In 2008 I got my DSRL camera and in my free time I started taking photos, portraits or just struggling to create something I thought to be impressive at the time. It started out as a hobby I always wanted to do, and slowly it transformed into a part-time job. But it isn't actually a "job" if you love doing it, right?

When working with models do you prefer to be in a studio or on location? Why?
Honestly I haven't been shooting in a studio that much, the outdoor is the place closest to my heart. Every location has it's own challenge where you can play around with different lighting every single time.
What camera do you use?
I use a Nikon D40, with 50mm F1.4 lens. Upgrading it as we speak.

What is the method in developing your ideas?
Constant searching for something beautiful in everything.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
I see myself in the future, as doing something i love.

Do you have any photography projects coming up and what are they?
Up coming projects include weddings, client shots and of course photoshoots with some of my recent ideas. Looking forward to all of them.
